Navigator in Travemuende

We were in Travemünde for 14 days in September this year and determined 12 times for lunch in the Navigator. The food was great and the staff very nice and attentive. I think it always depends on how you approach the staff yourself.

Great food at reasonable prices

... made a day trip to Travemünde and ended up with the Navigator by chance. Good German craftsmanship, solid and delicious cuisine! Keep it up!!!

Unfortunately, it has to be said that the operator of this restaurant has xenophobic ideas and cannot maintain gastronomic neutrality and certainly not friendliness towards (supposedly) foreign customers. The customer is only king here if he is German and white. The following happened: Two friends and I (all Germans with a clear migration background, which is important information here), who we made a spontaneous short trip to Travemünde to the wonderful Baltic Sea, wanted to get something to eat nearby and came across the said Local. The prices seemed affordable to us. A friend wanted to go to the restaurant alone to get the three of us fish sandwiches (due to Corona, the rest of us stayed in the car). It was 9:35 am, the place had been open for 5 minutes. The owner of the restaurant appeared promptly and said to the friend, who politely asked whether the shop was already open because the sign reads "Open from 9:30 am", in a disrespectful tone, "Yes, but not today!". So much for the famous German punctuality and reliability regarding opening times. The operator should ask himself how much he agrees with his values. As we drove away, he followed us with an evil expression with his eyes. Then the next local customer came into the shop. The bar was open to him. The Baltic Sea was a mass grave for German soldiers during World War II. We all know how this came about. A "navigator" always reveals the right path. However, the local operator has got lost in the right waters. He should definitely work up his own understanding of history and worldview. Nevertheless, Travemünde is a scenic place, the Baltic Sea including the beach like in paradise. Visitors with an immigrant background should, however, be prepared for impolite locals and even xenophobic attacks.

Absolutely unfriendly Guests were insulted because they “only” ordered a portion of french fries. Other guests were asked to leave their seats because regulars were probably coming ... Doesn't work for me. So no recommendation

30 years after reunification, this restaurateur has learned NOTHING from the history of his beloved Germany. The basic laws are a foreign word to him. No "non-Germans" are tolerated here. The worst thing is, the operator sat by his racist attitude, as you can see in his comments on the 1 star ratings. Sorry, my brown, we, who you call Pack, are native Germans! You and your racist people cannot and will not have anything else from that! Also on Travemünde beach we were racially insulted several times. At the kiosk in the city as well. As long as you don't change your attitude, you will die of your grumbling culture, you backwoodsmen! You have the best prerequisites for a fulfilled life full of joy, harmony and charity, make something out of it. One more thing: we were born here and paid taxes without interruption. We are German!!!! :-)

A muscular large shopkeeper who runs his shop in a tourist destination and only lets German guests in, lets his hatred run free. There is no other way to call it. I was with two of my friends in the shop this morning at 10 o'clock and the owner greeted us with a strange tone "what's up" when we said we wanted to order something, he said no, he didn't open up. But I said it says half past ten and guests are already sitting inside. He answered it in a rather loud and aggressive voice today ... We were shocked and ran away quickly.

Was there for the first time. It was delicious. Fish plate with delicious tartar sauce. Service great. Very nice and attentive service. Clear recommendation. Thanks and greetings from the Stuttgarters

The food is super delicious and the currywurst is to die for. We would love to come back.

We were only back today, like the years before when we were on vacation in Scharbeutz. We always come here with joy, since Petra and Theo are warm hosts and leave nothing to be desired. Eating and entertainment simply excellent .. Thanks to the Navigator Team ?

Were there for two. Fish plate with 3 types of fish = excellent and abundant. Fried plaice with bacon = superclass. Service very friendly and courteous. Better like most restaurants.
